About HEADWAY - UKSet up in 1979 by families of brain injured relatives seeking support and help for them. When found little available they set up their own group. Headway (National Head Injuries Association) was registered as a charity in March 1980 and a Management Committee was formed the following year. At the first AGM in December 1981, there were 22 local groups present. Now grown to a family of 114 groups and branches. |
