About VITA

Association was started in the year 1992, firstly it was completely voluntary association. In the first five year the focus was mostly on camps and weekly workshops (creativity and socialization). Finances came mostly from donations, than we started to apply to public calls and managed to get finance from communities and ministries for implementation of programs and education. Between the years 1992 and 2005 we were member of the association Sonček, association for cerebral paralysis and in the year 2000 they lend us a place, where we started working on programs of daily center, afternoon care and employed public workers for running the programs.

Since the year 2002 the programs of daily centre, living unit and domestic help for disabled are running on. In the year 2010 we moved to to our own unit, buying of which is sponsored by FIHO and in the future we are planning to get concession for implementation of care- working center, training of people with BI and their employment. We also provide information services as education on schools, publishing of brochure and translating of books.
